Shipping/Returns

Important Shipping Information:

The Brown Eyed Girl Collective is made up of over 60 small vendors, most of which only offer "Made to Order" products. This means your product is not made until you order it, which ensures the highest possible quality of product.

However, it also means the production times and shipping times are probably going to be longer than you are used to.

It is important to me to make sure that all customers are aware of this and clearly understand that the more specialized/personalized an item is, the longer it may take to be produced and shipped.

If you have a specific date you need something for, please reach out to me at browneyedgirlcollective@yahoo.com prior to placing your order so I can get confirmation from the vendor that we can meet your needs, and rush the order if needed.

For Regular Orders:

Processing/Production Time can vary by vendor from 3 business days to 7 business days. During peak/holiday times, these time frames can be extended up to 12 business days.

For Custom Orders:

Processing/Production Time can vary by vendor from 7 business days to 16 business days. During peak/holiday times, these time frames can be extended up to 21 business days.

Standard orders are processed once credit card authorization and address verification have been obtained.

Depending on your location, shipping takes between 3-6 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

However, exact shipping time is dependent on the shipper.

You will receive an email with tracking information when your order has been shipped.

Any production/shipping updates from the vendor will be communicated via email.

Shipping Rates for UPS:​

Up to $75 = $10.00

$75.01 - $125 = $15.00

$125.01 - $200 = $20.00

Orders Over $200 will ship for free.

 

USPS Rates are based on the weight of the order.

I will double-check rates prior to shipping and will always mail based on the lowest rate as long as that will not cause any shipping delays.

You will receive a credit for the difference in any lower shipping charges, if applicable. 

Returns/Refunds/Exchanges

Due to the number of vendors offered, returns and exchanges are generally not accepted.

Exceptions will be considered on a case-by case basis.

To submit a return request, please enter the info on the Contact page, or send an email to: browneyedgirlcollective@yahoo.com.

Please provide detailed information as to why you are returning the item(s) and include images if necessary.

Requests must be received within 14 days of delivery.

If a return is approved, products must be properly packaged and shipped to arrive in original condition (please use original packaging if possible).

Please note the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs. Please do not send anything back until you have been notified that your return is authorized.

I will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement, refund, or credit.

Any approved refunds will be processed automatically back to the original method of payment.

Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your account.

Lost/Stolen/Damaged Packages:

The Brown Eyed Girl Collective is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, or items that are damaged as a result of the shipping company.

Customized Items Policy:

Customized items are non-refundable and non-returnable due to their personalized nature.

However, if a production error occurred due to a vendor mistake, the item will be replaced provided the following steps are taken:

  1. Please report the error within 7 days of receipt of product to browneyedgirlcollective@yahoo.com.

  2. Please include photographic proof of the error.
